The events are available to all golfing members of Rock Barn Country Club & Spa. The purpose of the events is to allow beginners to play without feeling intimidated, to meet and enjoy the company of our neighbors and fellow members, to allow spouses and friends to play together and with others, and to have FUN!

Format

1. Mixed foursomes.
2. In cases where an odd number sign up, some of the teams may be less than or more than four members.
3. Played on the Jackson Course.
4. Events will be 9 or 18 holes.
5. Events will be played for bragging rights, not prizes.

Membership

1. Any golfing member of Rock Barn Golf & Spa.
2. Sign up using this website or contact a Event Administrator to sign you up.
3. Required information is your Last Name, First Name, Telephone Number, Handicap on Jackson Course.
4. Your email address is optional. However, since all communications will be done using this website and email it is desireable that you include your email address.
5. Your telephone number and email address will be listed on the "Member Listing" page. However, either or both of them can be removed from the "Member Listing" page by going to the "Edit Profile" link in "My Account" on the menu bar and removing them.
6. It is imperative that each members personal information be kept current. If there are any changes, particularly to the telephone number, email address or handicap, please correct them immediately using the "Edit Profile" link.
7. Each event will play a closest-to-the-pin and longest drive for men and women. The pro-shop will provide a sleeve of golf balls for the four winners.

Scheduling

1. The intent is play two events each month

Signup

1. Events will be available for signup as soon as they appear in the �Our Next Event�.� Section of the website home page.
2. Sign up by using the "Sign Up" link on the home page or by contacting John Wyckoff.
3. We will accommodate every member that signs up by adjusting the size of the groups.
4. You may also sign up for future events by viewing the 2018 event schedule and clicking on "Sign Up" for the specific event.

Event Status

1. The event status will be available on this website in real time.
2. In the event of bad weather, course conflict or insufficient players the event will be cancelled or re-scheduled.
3. Assuming the event is a go, the teams and starting order will be available on this website as soon as possible before the scheduled date of the event.
4. In most cases, when a event is cancelled or re-scheduled, an email will be sent to all members that have signed up for the event.

Cancelling

1. Any member signed up for an event that they are unable to play should remove themselves from the event immediately.
2. You can remove yourself from a event by using the "Sign Up" link on the home page of the website or by contacting John Wyckoff.
3. Event administrators names are available on the home page of this website.

Cost

1. There is no cost to be a member of the Rock Barn Captain's Choice Golf Group.
2. All events are FREE; except the two associated with the Rock Barn Golfing Program. See the �Future Events� schedule.

Handicaps

1. No handicaps are required.
2. We do not use handicaps in structuring the teams for our events.

Course Rules

1. Tees
1. Men under 55 years of age play from the blue tees.
2. Men 55 and over and under 70 years of age play the white tees.
3. Men 70 and over years of age play the green tees.
4. Men 80 and over may play from the red tees.
5. Women play the red tees.
6. On the Jones course men 80 and over and women may play from the Carolina Blue tees.
2. Hole #5
1. Men 80 and over and woman play from the most forward tee (red or green).
2. The hole is played as a par four.

Communications

1. All event communications is done using this website and email.

Event Administrators

1. John Wyckoff will administrator all of the RBCCGG events. In the event of his absence, he will designate someone to administer the event on his behalf.
